This policy explains what Dormo (“Dormo”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the Dormo website (dormo.family) and web app (dormo.family/app), why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we can. We do not sell your data and we use no advertising trackers.
What we collect
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address and the time you signed up | You sign up for updates | To send you short emails about Dormo |
| Your IP address | You sign up | To limit repeated sign-ups and abuse. Held for about a minute, then discarded |
| Standard server logs (time, page, browser, IP) | Every visit | To keep the site working and secure. Kept by our host for a short time |
| Anything you write to us | You email us | To answer you |
We do not collect your name, phone number, ID documents or payment card details.
The app
The app has no server of its own. It runs in your browser and reads Solana through public RPC nodes. When you connect a wallet, its public address is used only in your browser, to read your deposit, loan and trades; we don’t store it. The site and app use no cookies for tracking.
Public by nature
Solana is a public blockchain. Your wallet address and every transaction you sign, including deposits, loans and trades in the Dormo program, can be seen by anyone, forever. We cannot delete what is on the blockchain.
Who we share it with
- Vercel, which hosts the site and keeps server logs.
- Upstash, which stores the email list.
- Solana RPC providers such as publicnode.com, which your browser talks to directly to read and send transactions.
- Our email provider, to read and answer your email.
These providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Email addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete yours. Server logs: kept by our host for a short time, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email hello@dormo.family from the address you signed up with. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Who is responsible
Dormo is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@dormo.family.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell people on the email list.
